MULTIPLE VIDEOS & PHOTOS: Crews battling large brush fire in Lakewood by ground and air [UPDATED]

[VIDEO BELOW] Dozens of firefighters from Lakewood and surrounding townships are battling a large brushfire in Lakewood this afternoon.

The fire broke out around 1:00 PM on S. Clifton Ave.

Crews are using brush trucks as well as a chopper to douse the flames.

South Clifton is shut between Route 88 and MLK Drive as crews battle the fire.

Another fire broke out on New Central Avenue,  though that one was put out immediately.

  6. I was there for that as well. He put it out with his extinguisher bottle then the hose from house.

    Siding was starting to catch on fire, very windey He did save the day that man.
