VIDEO: Lakewood residents find human skull on Kever in Ukraine (VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED)

Lakewood residents who traveled to the Bais Hachaim of the Mahrsha in Ukraine, were shocked at a discovery they made – a human skull placed on a Kever.

Reb Moshe Manies buried the skull nearby, and the group said Kaddish.

Find it a little strange that they would automatically assume that this was a meis mitzvah.

It’s a shame it wasn’t intered in it’s appropriate depth (deeper), though I’m sure circumstances that are unknown to me and others made that impossible.
I also don’t believe this should be posted on the family like furom and news-site, tls. For sensitive yidden it’s extremely painful and for the Torah conscience at least boderline zilzul hames. Please remove, less the public desencitizes unnecessarily. (Yes I saw the warning for descretion, it doesn’t make it more proper)
Oiy!!

Question?

Did anyone even verify if this was a real skull? The way it was so “nicely” found near the headstone, it may have just been a fake prop that some local teenagers put there as a joke?

I was there it was real skull & it was a real mitzvah that was done . A few years ago they had tried to build by the cemetery & a lot of skeletons had come up . The chevrah kedusha had a job then . When we told him about what happened he said right away it must be a yid . No question !! He did not even had second thoughts .
