  1. This kind of stuff is very important for the community relations. It demystifies the police. When I grew up the cops were the “bad guys.” We all got scared when a cop was near us; we saw their job as to figure out ways to give us tickets. In Lakewood the feeling is much more collaborative, and as an adult I see the police as our helpers and protector. And indeed, they do make us feel that way.

    Keep it up, LPD!

  2. Maybe the first responders in lkwd should have bb leagues this summer
It would be really fun to play and watch
And a time to bond with each other!???
Or maybe the pd from surrounding town’s like jpd hpd tpd fpd and lpd should make leagues had get to know each other
I think it would be nice
