VIDEO: Lakewood Hatzolah releases fun and lifesaving video

To the dispatchers surprise, the caller sounded like she couldn’t be more than 5 years old. “My mommy has a boo boo and she’s sleeping,” Zeesy W. said.

“Is anyone else home with you?”

“No.”

“Do you know your address?”

“Yes.”

“Your doing great! Don’t hang up until the Hatzolah men are there.”

“I hear the sirens.”

When every second counts, knowing Hatzolah’s phone number can literally make the difference between life and death.

Over the year, Hatzolah receives so many calls from children who’s parents made sure knew who to call in an emergency.

But, the need to know the number doesn’t stop by children. A survey done recently by Hatzolah discovered that al least 20% of the Lakewood population doesn’t know Hatzolah’s number by heart. This staggering statistic is scary at best.

Thanks to the generous support of the Rothenberg Law Firm, Toys 4 U and Golden Fluff, Hatzolah has partnered with Shmuli Rosenberg of fwd/NYC Marketing who have written produced many world famous and  successful jingles to use the power of music to solve this problem.

Please listen to this song and play it for your families. Please share it with everyone you know. Not only is it fun and entertaining, but it will save lives!

Shouldn’t we be teaching the kids to call the police first especially in life-threatening situations every minute counts

You are confusing hatzolah with LCSW. Are you the mayor of Jackson by any chance?

Hatzolah comes in seconds and the police come in minutes – if that fast! Hatzolah has saved countless lives that had 911 been called, the person would no longer be with us.

Not to knock the police or local EMS, but you cannot compare a municipal service with dozens of dedicated volunteers, ready to respond at a moments notice 24/7/365.

Wow..That was the idea I suggested a few months ago! So glad they took it and ran with it B”H!! Truthfully I got the inspiration from Oorah 1877Kars4Kids 🙂
100% Agreed about having 107.9 playing it during the children’s hour!

Just submitted a new idea about having our name, address, medical info, etc. pre-populated in their database so it pops out with our Caller-ID even when calling from a cellphone. It was inspired by Smart911.com. Hope they adopt it soon as well!

Way to go Hatzolah!!!!

This is an unbelievable project that Hatzolah has undertaken!
Truth be told, more people than not, DO NOT KNOW HATZOLAH’S NUMBER BY HEART!!
In an emergency, the seconds it can take to have to find hatzolah’s number can be the difference between life and death!
It’s that serious!
Thank you Hatzolah for coming up with this cute and catchy jingle.
I played it for my kids a few times, and after a couple of minutes they were all singing along!
I feel confident, that if chas vesholom, should my kids ever find themselves in an emergency situation, they will now know who and HOW to call.
Thank yoy hatzolah for all tht you do for all of us!
