The Lakewood Chaveirim video that captured the attention and the hearts of thousands of children and adults alike last year is about to be blown out of the water with the highly anticipated Lakewood Chaveirim Episode 2.

The Episode Two will be delivered to mailboxes in Lakewood in just a few weeks, Chaveirim tells TLS.

Chaveirim is an organization that can be hard to define. What services, exactly, do they offer?

They offer help! Watch Episode 2 and be amazed by the scope of everyday and unusual emergencies Chaveirim handles.

Members joining Chaveirim receive training in how to handle day to day calls including but not limited to boosts, flat tires, home and auto lockouts, emergency flooding situations, animals and birds in homes and many more scenarios. However, they also deal with many unusual calls that require particular creativity and skill. These calls range from cars getting stuck on railroad tracks, offering driving directions to someone lost in northern New Jersey late at night, tree removal, jewelry flushed down toilets and street drains, people getting stuck on roofs, and everything in between.

Lakewood Chaveirim also works hand in hand with Hatzolah, responding to non-medical emergencies, and with the Lakewood Police department whenever needed, whether it’s assisting with lockouts, getting stalled vehicles off of the road, or coordinating community events, especially when special care is needed to meet our community sensitivities.

Lakewood Chaveirim is a non-profit organization. Their volunteer body is comprised of highly qualified contractors, electricians, plumbers, businessmen, students, and simple people; the common ground among all members is a big heart.

Chaveirim’s budget is continuously growing from outfitting new members with equipment and replacing well-used equipment to purchasing up-to-date equipment to help service the community. Chaveirim does not charge for their services and is funded solely by donations received from the community.
