EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: of local Officials and the Complete Count Committee of Lakewood, discussing the Basement issue with Census Bureau Officials at yesterdays meeting. Hundreds of residents have been questioning whether or not to count their ‘basement tenants’ in the same form or to use separate forms. Many have also been worried about ‘exposing too much information’ to the Federal Government. To ease some of the confusion, TLS has been granted permission to release a video clip of yesterday’s meeting, where Officials have directly addressed the issue. Bottom line, should I include my basement tenant?
Bottom line is that basements should fill out a separate form. Because they are only mailing one per address, you must go pick up an extra form. Extra forms will be made avail. all over town after Pesach. Now they are avail at the Library, Township Building, BMG…. Every basement should pick one up and fill it out.
FYI I LIVE IN A DEVELOPMENT AND THE MAIL MAN SAID EVERYONE HERE GOT THERE FORM AND I DID NOT AND I DO NOT LIVE IN A BASEMENT AND I OWN MY HOME….
if you all want to be harassed by census people then fill out 2 forms and wait till they come ask why they have 2 for one address. The simpler way to do it is to just let your basement return it for you!

Here we go again Lakewood opens another can of worms…………..Charge every basement house a tax to help save our first aid squad, and split the proceeds between EMS, LFAS, Hatzolah……..everyone wins, and don’t lie on the census it will only cost us to loose state aid and federal money.

I nevr received a form im not in a basement who do I call
I didn’t get one and don’t wanna get one I don’t trust that communist obama for nothing he’s up to no good.
Everyone that lives in Lakewood needs to be counted. Basement dwellers should get a form, fill it out and mark the address as basement apartment.
Federal dollars and representation are determined by the count of people that live in a municipality.
Stand up and be counted.
The gov does not care what part of the house you live in it is one form per household it says that on the form their is room for lots of people. Just fill out the form and put everyone including the people in basements on one censes. If you don’t believe me read the form how is this a issue.
to # 10 How about if all the married gals in Lakewod make sure that their husbands fill out the form? If we have enough people here in Lakewood maybe we’ll get Tifany’s and a Bloomingdales on Clifton Ave. in the new shopping Centers.Keep the wives happy cuz they have where to shop. Keep the husbands happy cuz the real estate goes up. Become a city – the real estate taxes go down. Huh…. sound like a plan?
