VIDEO: Kumzitz with Abie Rottenberg, Shlomo Simcha and Rivie Schwebel at Lakewood Daf Yomi Siyum at American Dream Mall

Last night, 500+ members of Rabbi Sruly Bornstein’s Daf Yomi Shiur took part in a Siyum at American Dream Mall, with some members flying in from Canada and Eretz Yisroel.

According to Y.M. a live Attendee at the shiur “To me one of the nicest things about this chabura is we are obviously grew up in different communities, went to different yeshivos, dress differently however we are all such a beautiful group where no one notices this and we are just 1 chabura, כאיש אחד בלב אחד, it is so unbelievably inspiring.”

The siyum registration was first opened up first to its regular live zoom Chaburah members, then hit the maximum capacity for the venue rather quickly.

According to an individual involved with the Chaburah, but requested to remain anonymous, shared “If the siyum would have been opened to all the listeners and followers on the app and the multiple channels, the venue would have had to been like moved across the street to MetLife [stadium, where the Agudas Yisroel’s siyum hashas is held] to handle the capacity”.

The keynote speaker was Reb Yehoshua Abba Busel Shlita. Rav of the High Street community, where the shiur first began back in 2012.

Reb Sruly delivered his energy infused shiur live. He also shared a signature style Reid Bite, as well as his great appreciation to the entire Chabura and so many involved.

Michoel Danziger, an active Chaburah member lead the coordination of the event amongst other volunteers. Catering was provided by Michael Schick Catering.
