Trump: “Building Luxury Villas & Golf Courses in Qatar Takes Precedence Over Rebuilding the Holy Bais Hamikdash, Because There’s No Money To Be Gained From the Latter”
Responding to a recent query from White House correspondent, Jake Turx, whether he has any plans to rebuild the Jewish temple in Jerusalem, President Donald Trump told reporters on Thursday that the Trump organization is “way too focused on building luxury villas and golf courses in Qatar to contemplate the rebuilding of the Bais Hamikdash in Jerusalem.”
“Let’s face it,” Mr. Trump said, “building luxury villas and golf courses in Qatar – and erecting 80-story towers in the UAE – is extremely profitable for the Trump organization, whereas the rebuilding of the Jewish temple does absolutely nothing for our company’s bottom line.”
“I make lots of money building luxury real estate in the US, Qatar and Dubai,” Mr. Trump said. “But I wouldn’t be worth billions of dollars today if I spent my time rebuilding Jewish temples in Jerusalem. In fact, I’d probably be broke.”
“However, one thing I can assure you,” Mr. Trump added, “if the holy temple in Jerusalem had been built by the Trump organization, the Romans couldn’t have destroyed it, because the materials we use for our real estate projects are indestructible. Other than an atom bomb or a bunker buster, nothing can bring down a Trump-built edifice!”
