ברושור חדש שמואל הנביא_250203_130126
So beautiful & intricate!
Shmuel Hanavi was a Levi who descended from Korach. What is the source that he was a Kohen who did Avodah in the Mishkan?
I was wondering the same thing.
He said he was a fifth generation silversmith, he didn’t say he was a fifth generation תלמיד חכם.
If you want something with kabbalistic meaning, go study at ישיבת שער השמים.
If you want something beautiful that was handcrafted with whatever the artisan could think of to make tenuous connections to שמואל הנביא, buy this.
I have no idea what I just watched, whether the רמזים he referenced have any real meaning, whether everything he said is a wild stretch, or anything like that.
All I know is: he has a pleasant voice, it’s a beautiful masterpiece regardless of the meaning behind it, I probably cannot afford to pay him anything close to what it’s worth, and I probably shouldn’t have something with שם השם written all over it like that in my house while my children are little.
I’m sure there is someone out there who this resonates with enough to justify the many thousands it is certainly worth.
Apparently, making such a becher is a big segula for parnossa!
