VIDEO: How To Make Shlissel Challah

On the first Shabbos after Pesach, many have the custom to eat Shlissel Challah.

The Challah, either braided in the shape of a key or baked with an actual key, is said to be a Segula for Parnassah.

  1. A friend of mine sent me a recipe he calls ‘7 keys to making good shlissel challah’, but I locked the recipe inside my cabinet by accident, and I lost the key, so I will rely on this video. Thanks.

  2. How about plastering a Rebbe’s photo on one’s dashboard, for protection?
    When have we become small-minded and superstitious, absorbing the customs of our neighbors and their religious practices?
