For the second day in a row, firefighters and Lakewood battled a structure fire.
The fire broke out at an apartment complex on Monmouth Avenue this afternoon. There were no injuries reported.
Police tell TLS approximately eight apartments were affected, resulting in the displacement of approximately 30 people. They are being assisted by Red Cross, and the Lakewood High School.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.

It makes absolutely no difference. For any family, it’s very challenging to deal with this kind of devastation. but I imagine that the reason people asked is to verify that it wasn’t as a result of Chanukah lights. That is all.

Who cares if they were Jewish or not they are family with possible children who lost everything, Hopefully you never have to endure such a tragedy some day. Time for people to start being kind.
