VIDEO: Not everyone spent their day today complaining about the snow. Some families actually took the opportunity to spend some quality family time and headed for the slopes. This afternoon, dozens of families went sledding, skiing and tobogganing in Westgate and on Avenues of America, making good use of mother nature’s gift.
That’s what we call ‘making lemonade out of lemons’.
where is this
whats mother nature’s real name?
she is also known as mother earth
This is at Avenue of the Americas, in the Blueclaws roadway complex (otherwise known as Cedarbridge Corporate Park). When you turn off of Pine St. it’s on the left. It doesn’t look as good as it did last year when we had the other massive storm. Perhaps because this was powder and last time it was wetter. I sure hope they can find a way to keep this hill. It’s so much fun to sled on it! The best is to use a tube if you have one.
They also had sledding, tubbing et all by South Lake/Hope Chapel/North Lake Drive park area.
