Congratulations! Senator Menendez. One of the few democratic friends of Jews and Israel in Washington (unlike our other New Jersey senator who is a fair weather friend). I hope you can continue your very successful career, serving out state and country. It would be great if you can fight for justice reform in our country. You were fortunate to have a few decent people in the jury, and the financial backing to mount a strong defense. Not all innocent defendants are as lucky.
Our other New Jersey Senator is far from being a friend. Senator Menendez I am very happy for you.
Maybe someone can show him what happened to rubashkin and now he knows what it’s like so he will be a good shliach to get him out.
