VIDEO: Dr. Shanik, Lakewood’s world renowned Doctor, is perhaps mostly known for his expertise in the medical field and his passion and devotion in helping thousands of children, morning and night, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
What’s less known to the general population in Lakewood, is Dr. & Mrs. Shanik’s Tzedakah fund which they have been running single handedly for over 30 years.
Ahavas Tzedakah, which now assists over 600 needy families with food and clothing, has grown to an annual budget of over $800,000. But much more could be accomplished with the additional funds.
So in hopes of raising the necessary funds enabling him to continue supporting his project, Dr. Shanik is reaching out to the community.
The Shanik’s look forward in welcoming you to their second annual dinner, which will take place at Bais Faiga on July 10.
Where can you find a more selfless couple? Dr. and Mrs. Shanik are on a constant crusade of chesed. What a shining example of Ahavas Chesed.
