VIDEO: Biur Chometz in Lakewood; Shout-out to OC Fire Marshals & Volunteer Firefighters

biur chometz 15 picVIDEO: Biur Chometz in Lakewood went very smoothly today, officials say, and much credit must be given to those running the Biur Chometz sites.

Joining the Ocean County Fire Marshals at the burn locations, were dozens of Volunteer Firefighters – including approximately 20 Frum volunteers – who manned the sites to ensure they remained safe for all.

“It’s truly an amazing sight to see Frum firefighters at Biur Chometz wishing you a ‘Gut Yom Tov,” a resident said. “Watching them take off their helmet to adjust their Yarmukah – it’s an unusual sight.”
