1. Many amazing things here. 1- the Misameach Family Center is an amazing tool being utilized by many in our community going through an illness in need or respite or some fun for the family. 2- Lipa Schwartz is running this, on his own, with no fanfare for over 10 yrs already. 3- Not ONE singer or musician, to my knowledge, EVER gets paid. And these are top flight guys, From Benny Friedman, MBD, Schwekey, to Avrom Fried, Gabay and Simcha Leiner and everyone in between. This includes sending Yehuda Green to a local hospital for a choleh to sending maestro flutist Meyer Rosenbaum and a guitarist to North Carolina to visit a patient in the hospital. From amateur musicians like me and my friends to top flight wedding players like Yossi Shtendig. I mean, for real, you take a step back and look at the body of work which is Misameach and its really mind-numbing. As I tell Lipa all the time, if we take an honest look at it, its pretty clear, this organization is being run by H-shem. Period. And I’m proud to have an occasional part in it.

2. @beauty- well said. I volunteer sometimes for Misameach and I’m amazed at how this organization is run. You did, however, forget to mention the crazy midwinter event which gives out 1000s of $$ in presents to families, and has live music and everything for families struggling with illness. Lipa is amazing !!
