I think this is a private and personalvmoment for these boys. Not sure why it needs to be publicized.
A little sechel please.
The genara says in Moed Katan, An Av BEis Din or other person of leadership that is niftar, there are dinim of Aveilus for the Rabbim. At first I thought what the Bochurim were doing was strange but after thinking about it for a moment I think they’re 100% right. And, truthfully we can all learn from them about how to react when a Gadol amongst us dies.
Thanx TLS for posting this poignant pic.

I was in Telz Cleveland when Rav Shach was niftar and R’ Chaim Stein Zt”l spoke shortly after Shacharis, then sat on the floor (stairs to the Aron) crying, of course followed immediately by the rest of the Yeshivah following his example.
I have the feeling, that publicizing this, is being out of touch with the real feeling of this situation and just a knee-jerk sensationalist journalistic reaction to publicizing anything that comes across as interesting. Lakewood Scoop-we have enough of those, please don’t be like that.
Does The Scoop not post constructive criticism…?
Totally don’t agree. I was very moved by this show of Kavod Hatorah. This was done in true Telzer fashion and really brought home the scope of the tragedy for me.
why is someone videoing this?? nothing is private anymore!!, nothing has feeling anymore, everything needs to be videoed
