VIDEO: Authorities seek help identifying Lakewood Hit & Run suspect who ran over pedestrian

Authorities this morning released video surveillance footage of the vehicle which ran over and seriously injured a pedestrian in Lakewood.

As reported on TLS, On July 2, a pedestrian was struck and seriously injured at the corner of Cedarbridge Avenue and Hurley Avenue. The suspect vehicle fled the scene heading Eastbound on Cedarbridge Avenue.

Surveillance footage obtained by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s High Tech Crime Unit from a nearby gas station shows the suspect to be a possible black male driving a blue in color 2002-2006 ford explorer (matching the above vehicle).

No debris was left on the scene as the pedestrian was run over, the Prosecutor’s office said.
