Fox aren’t active in daytime unless they have rabies or some other sickness……
Word probably got around in the Goose community – from the previous incident – to be on the lookout for suspicious foxes who are preying upon Geese eggs.
I’m glad to see the Goose community banding together to keep their families and future offspring safe.
The Goose Civilian task force in Lakewood is among the best bird task forces in the country. Kudos to them!
Unfortunately, Lakewood, as of late, has been experiencing a rise in crime affecting both the human and Goose communities We can, and must learn from the Geese, and the mother Geese, how to better protect ourselves from the criminal elements.
Perhaps we can work together with the Geese, hand in wing, to make Lakewood among the safest communities in the country for both humans and birds.
Next time, put down the camera and help that poor Mother Goose.
Not just poor goose but also poor fox let them fight it out themselves
