Why does Reb Chaim’s son need Reb elya Mann to ask for the bracha? Reb shloima himself is sitting right there.

By the way you see here that Maran Sar Hatorah answers BUAH! There are many people that come out of his house feeling disappointed that all they got so to speak was a BUHA. They don’t realize that it really is a bracha it’s not just a throwing away kind of expression. Here you see that for his own son he says the same thing. I have seen maran shlita say that on many occasions when I was in his house and indeed it’s a real bracha.

reb shloyma shleps around the world in golus raising money for his yeshiva
this story which shows what type of person he is and needs to be said as when we meet him here we only see him as reb chaims son ,fundraising money but don’t know his true stature as a talmud chochum and rosh yeshiva
the fact that the story was told over in front of lagoon reb chaim verifies it to be 100 % true and believe me rav shloyma was very uncomfortable to be sitting their as it was being told over but what should he do but under go the bizyonos if it will help him raise more money as he shleps around the globe
and reb chaim is more then happy to help his son out by sitting the 2 minutes listening and verifying the story and giving a brocho
