VIDEO: As the first online Jewish giving day piloted by Jewish outreach organizations from around the world ends at 12 Noon EST today, 10 of the 19 organizations’ fundraising goals remain unmet.
The organizations joined an ambitious online fundraising venture called #millionforoutreach to raise anywhere from $20,000 to $180,000 each in 24 hours, raising a collective total of $1.2 million. All donations donated online during the event would be quadrupled. However, as a condition to join, all organizations had to commit to going in all or nothing. If they didn’t raise their goal in 24 hours, not only would they not receive any of their donations, neither would any of the other participants.
Now, with the 12 Noon EST deadline looming, not all campaigns have been funded, but more than $1.15 million has been raised. If not all goals are met, then all donations will be returned, according to the online platform: charidy.com and event organizers.

Simple suggestion: Say an org has a goal of 50k but only raised 35k. They should donate the last 15k (to themselves) throught this site. It wo t actually ‘cost’ them anything since it goes out of their pocket and right back in, and then they get the 35k as opposed to loosing it…..
We have 2 hours left to get moeny matched!! Please go to http://www.charidy.com/ukrainejews
As an insider I know that all the organizations that did not succeed yet are playing the game so they can get more new donations.. They all have donors in there pocket that they will pull out last minute.
Either way Thanks Mayor Miller CS , YitztyB, Aaron M, MS, MC, and Joe N, all those that participated to help us to our 1st goal of 100k…
Lets get to 130k!
