Instead of staying up to watch the Super Bowl, Bachurim from Rabbi Senter’s Yeshiva stayed up to Learn all night, and then went to Daven Vasikin at the Kosel.

  1. When a reporter later asked a bachur from Rav Senter’s yeshiva why he chose the all night seder over the Superbowl, the bachur told him: “It’s elementary, my dear reporter! You see, in our yeshiva we’ve got some of world’s top tacklers, who can tackle some of the most difficult and challenging sugyas ever known to mankind. Why should we watch NFL tacklers tackle one another, when WE – the elite tacklers of the yeshiva world – can enjoy our precious time tackling the toughest and most challenging sugyas, all while feeling a tremendous sense of accomplishment? It’s elementary, my dear reporter!”
