PHOTOS: A drunk driver was arrested after crashing his vehicle into a pole, causing his vehicle to overturn. The accident occurred at the intersection of Central Avenue and Regent Drive at about 10:40 PM, as reported at the time on our News Alerts.
Hatzolah responded to the scene, but the intoxicated driver had already emerged from the vehicle – uninjured.
Police arrived moments later and arrested the man for DUI, an official tells TLS.
The Lakewood Fire Department responded as well.
The road has been shut West-bound at Sunset Road for the repairs.
Electric is out in the area.

Hmmmm, 2 crashes, in close proximity & both into telephone poles. Ok – I think I got it – the roads around/near poles are not good. They’re rocky & uneven – they also attract wet mounds of leaves – & THAT’S why these ppl crashed into them. Yes, that must be it.
lakewood is not safe anymore to live-in all categories, from driving to robberies & healthwise etc…-its time we all picked ourselves up & went to the one & only safe place, protected with safety by Hashem-Eretz Yisroel-the land that was chosen for klal yisroel to dwell in & given over to us by Hashem, with a gaurantee for success there.
lets pick ourselves up now, before its too late & we are forced to flee the USA-as anti-semitism continues to grow & our rite’s are beings taken away one by one-wishing we had left before being forced too.
Lesson for the day:
Don’t drink and drive because those poles are out to get the drunks. They always jump into the middle of the road to stop the intoxicated drivers.
We need to teach these pole to run faster. They just can’t stand there.
