Vehicle into pole shuts part of Ocean Avenue in Lakewood until Thursday afternoon

Part of Ocean Avenue in Lakewood will be shut until Thursday afternoon after a vehicle crashed into a pole, police say.

The accident occurred shortly before 9:00 PM.

Police say JCPL is on scene but the damage is more severe than originally thought.

Ocean Avenue will be shut between Railroad Avenue and Congress Street.

Expect heavy morning traffic in the area.
