Statement: A prominent brand was recently identified to contain shatnez.
Tiglio, a popular men’s suit brand, was found with wool and linen in its taper reinforcements.
A substandard shatnez check might miss it because the linen, used as a pinstripe in the scraps, is hard to spot. We have included pictures of this shatnez for you to review. The white line is pure linen, while the rest of the scrap is pure wool.
Regrettably, certain stores in Lakewood, New Jersey, offer the Tiglio brand alongside inadequate shatnez testing. They also sell many suits labeled “pre-tested,” which should not be trusted.
Vaad L’Mishmeres Shatnez urges that any clothing potentially containing shatnez should only be tested in a certified laboratory.

Where is the VAAD Limishmeres Tznius?!
why is that any less important than Shatnez?!
If only we cared about what women’s clothing stores were selling to the public!!!
100%
Who says we don’t care? Thye issue is why do we want the women to wear such clothing? BTW, there are equal issues with mens design clothing today as well. Tight pants, the colors of ties that men wear are also a problem.
how do you post this without doing your due diligence or posting the full story. the source of this is a known trouble maker in Lakewood. you don’t take Lashon hara about a Jewish owned business seriously?? Rabbi Mordechai Kreitman Stands 100% firm that there is no Shatnez issue with this company. Rabbi Yaakov Forchheimer. i know all this because i once bought this suite and actually did my research
can you please advise NAMES of the posikim of this VADD, so we can know who exactly who says there is a issue, as there are “lots of details in halacha” to deem something ASSUR, not everything that has a ingredient of wool and linen is ASSUR,
