Utility Advisory Committee To Ask BPU To Join Committee

The Board of Public Utilities (BPU), the board which receives residents’ complaints about utility rate hikes, could soon join the Utility Advisory Committee, a board member confirms to TLS. The board member says they will be extending an invitation to the BPU to join the board in hopes of having an open dialogue as it currently has with representatives from JCP&L and NJ American Water.

The board member also says they hope in the near future to set specific dates and times for future meetings, which will be open to the public. TLS.
