Reb Shimon, a member of the Lakewood Kehillah for decades and who gave so much of himself for the Klal in so many ways, now desperately needs our help. His wife urgently needs a kidney transplant.
Here is a message from Reb Shimon.
“We are desperately searching for an O+/- Kidney for my wife, Yocheved. Unfortunately, none of our immediate family are a match due to the difficult blood makeup. We are therefore turning to you, our extended Jewish family in search of a kidney. Anyone who may be able to donate, or has any questions regarding the above please contact Rabbi Chaim Stienmetz of Renewal at 718.431.9831 ext 209 or email R18219@renewal.org.”
Please take a minute to daven for Yocheved bas Golda Mina.
If you have ever thought about donating a kidney, give Renewel a call. Ask any kidney donor and they’ll all tell you the same, “If I could donate again I’d do it all over again.” It’s an amazing experience with a quichk recovery. Renewel and Menchem Friedman will be there every step of the way.
Special woman! Incredible family. They have done so much good when they lived in Lakewood. I was so happy that they finally made it to Eretz Yisrael. Wishing her a speedy and full recovery b’karov and I hope she finds a donor very soon!
How do I find out my blood type?
MB – Do a blood test for blood type.
@MB Ask your Dr’s office. They should have it on file.
Yocheved, I am 56 years old and I am ready to donate a kidney. Since my blood type is A+, I emailed Renewal to let them know I would be willing to donate in a swap situation.
Refuah Shelaima.
