Just in. The Lakewood PD have just arrived to a gang related fight at Woehr Avenue and Congress Street, which is around the corner from the Frum, Park and Second area, with one person reportedly stabbed. There are many Police on location at this time. We will keep you updated on this story.
U/D 10:45 p.m There is heavy Police activity on scene, as well as Lakewood EMS units.
U/D 10:53 p.m. The scene is under control at this time. Most PD units have cleared and the victim is currently being treated at the scene.
U/D 10:57 p.m Victim is being transported to KMC in stable condition, with stab wounds to his arms. He was hit over the head with brass knuckles as well. CIU units ar en route to KMC.
U/D 1:23 a.m. The victim has been released from the hospital, while PD is looking for a 4 doored, white Silverado pick up truck. Anyone with information is asked to call the LPD at 732-363-0200.
U/D 1:32 a.m. Police have just made 4 arrests in connection with the stabbing. Arresting Officers N.M, M.M, J.M. and J.S. have each arrested one suspect. Another job well done by Lakewoods‘ Finest. Detective J.F. from the Detectives Bureau is currently investigating the attack.
