Baruch Dayan Ha’emes. We regret to inform you of the passing of Reb Shimon Newhouse Z”L, the father of one of the founders of Chaveirim of Lakewood and community askan Yosef Newhouse. Reb Shimon Ben Reb Avraham Z”L was not well for a few years after suffering a stroke. Reb Shimon’s mother, Rebbetzin Rivka Newhouse was nifteres about 10 days ago here in Lakewood, which was posted here on The Lakewood Scoop. He is the brother of R’ Eliezer(Ezzy), R’ Menashe, R’ Yehuda Leib Z”L and R’ Shragy Z”L. Levaya details will be posted as soon as they are available. YZ’B.
