10 juveniles were inside a vehicle that overturned on the Garden State Parkway yesterday afternoon in which three were ejected, NJSP tells TLS.
As first reported by TLS, Troopers responded to a the crash shortly before 4:00 p.m. on the Garden State Parkway south milepost 114.8 outer roadway in Holmdel Twp., Monmouth County.
Based on a preliminary investigation, a Subaru Forester was traveling southbound on the GSP. The Subaru was occupied by a front seat passenger and ten juvenile passengers in the rear area.
In the area of milepost 114.8, the Subaru struck the metal guardrail on the left side and overturned.
During the collision, three juvenile passengers were ejected from the vehicle.
As a result of the crash, a two-year-old female passenger sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The driver, Omeisha Ward, a 34-year-old female from Newark, NJ, sustained minor injuries.
All other occupants were transported to a local hospital for further medical evaluation.
The crash remains under investigation.
Was the seat belt not operational or did they not wear it which would be gross negligence.

There were no car seats in use, and youngest ejected was 2yrs old and is in critical condition. There is a nice place in hell for adults who are this reckless with children’s lives. I hope she pays for what she did to these kids.
I passed this vehicle as it was over turned and it still had dealership tags! This woman should go to jail for a long time!
