Update On Public Works Pesach Workers

Update. The Lakewood Scoop just spoke with The Voice who spoke to Public Works Director John Franklin regarding the potential strike of the public works employees during the busiest season of the year. John Franklin told the Voice, that thanks to the terms of the last contract (which stays in effect until a new contract is created), the workers would potentially face layoff’s if they would strike. In an economy like this, filling those places wouldn’t be too difficult. John also mentioned, that all time slots of the busy schedule, have been filled in, indicating the busy Pesach schedule will run as planned.

  1. Maybe I should look for a job as a sanitary engineer in Lakewood. They pay better than my current job, and the truck does the heavy lifting.
