The boy who fell off the balcony in Lakewood yesterday remains in critical condition.
The family tells TLS the surgery was B”H completed successfully, however, the next 2-3 days are extremely critical. Additionally, numerous issues are yet to be dealt with.
The family also requested of anyone who can, to be מקבל to take notice of the reminder of the מזוזה on their door, which, as the רמב”ם says is the essence of this מצוה דאורייתא. Moshe נ”י had recently taken a strong interest in this מצוה, and his family had taken it on as a family project.
“Try setting a specific time each day, on your way to learn, to work, or to school, pausing for a moment to be consciously aware of the presence of Hashem in our lives. Let us harness the power of this מצוה, and the awareness that it can constantly bring in to our lives,” the family said.
Here is a rough translation of the Rambam mentioned.
“A person must be very careful with [the mitzvah of] mezuzah as it is incumbent upon everyone continuously. Every time he enters or exits and encounters this [reminder of the] יחוד ה‘, the Name of the Holy One, blessed is He, and he remembers His love, and he is aroused from his sleep and his [being caught up with] temporary things, he will know that that nothing lasts forever but the knowledge of Creator of the world and immediately he will return to his senses and walk in righteous ways. The חכמים הראשונים said of whosoever has Tefillin on his head and arm, tzitzis on his garment, and a mezuzah on his door, that we can be confident that he will not sin for he has so many reminders and these are the very angels who save him from sinning as it says, “חונה מלאך השם סביב ליראיו.”

Beautiful idea! I know that Rav Hutner was of the opinion not to just kiss the mezuzah the countless times we pass the doorpost. But, to rather stop once a day, place ones hand on the Mezuzah and have the proper thoughts. May משה בן דינה have a רפואה שלימה.
Heard from reb muta frank who says over that the word מזוזות stands for
זז מוות
What a special boy ! What a special family ! A beautiful awareness for all of Klal Yisroel . משה בן דינה born on the same day as our forefather משה רבינו. He should have a refua sheleima and be maarich yomim to 120 as his namesake !
name Chaim has been added
please continue to daven for Chaim Moshe Ben Dina
Didn’t the chief rabbi of Israel say not to kiss the mezuzah for the time being, due to the coronavirus?
Name changed to Chaim Moshe ben Dina.
The chief rabbi of Teheran said it, not Israel…
No, it was the chief rabbi of Israel, Rav Dovid Lau. But relax, you can do the same thing without actually touching the mezuza.
The one in Iran said not to fast on Taanis Esther.
