UPDATE: NJMVC Expiration Date Extensions Apply to Commercial Driver Licenses, Commercial Learner Permits, Commercial Registrations, and Temporary Tags

In response to frequent questions, New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Chief Administrator Sue Fulton today confirmed that the two-month expiration extensions put in place this week for driver licenses, learner permits, and registrations also apply to commercial driver licenses, commercial learner permits, commercial registrations, and temporary tags.

As Chief Fulton announced on Friday, March 13, the extensions were put in place to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and protect the public.

In addition, currently all NJMVC agencies, road testing and inspection facilities are closed until at least Monday, March 30, 2020.

Customers should check NJMVC.gov for the latest information and updates.
