UPDATE: Nearly 1,000 Lakewood residents still without power

Nearly 1000 Lakewood residents are still without power this morning.

Strong winds are to blame for the outages, which are affecting residents mainly in the northeast portion of the Township.

Police directed traffic and multiple intersections into the early morning hours due to traffic light outages.

Power is expected to be restored by 9:30 AM, according to JCPL.

Way more then 1000 at this point. Jcp&l doesn’t even have an estimated time when it will be fixed now.
