Taking the mater very seriously, the Lakewood Police Department has deployed a team of investigators to get to the bottom of the masked intruder incidents frightening a neighborhood in Lakewood.
“This investigation is ongoing, and we have been concentrating our efforts by increasing both uniformed and plain clothes patrol tactics in that area, as well as a team of investigators who are investigating similar events,” Detective Lieutenant Greg Staffordsmith said today.
Approximately six of these incidents were reported over the past few months in the area of Sterling Forest.
People seem to forget their 2nd Amendment right to self defense, arm yourself and protect your family!
You seem to forget this is New Jersey. For all intents and purposes there is no 2nd amendment.
Actually it is only difficult to get a handgun. A long gun can be purchased in Delaware (about an hour and a half from Lakewood) with a NJ license and legally brought back here.
to clarify, a NJ drivers license and one additional form of ID (such as car registration) no need for a gun license or any other pesky items

What good is a gun? If you shoot the guy because he’s exposed, your gonna be exposed to a lot more in jail. No castle law in NJ
