Question:

Dear Mayor Coles,

Thank you for all your hard work on behalf of Lakewood, and for resolving many of the concerns brought up here at The Lakewood Scoop.

Regarding the question about the Clifton Ave Grade School playground, I have just this week tried contacting the municipality about getting the playground unlocked. I spoke the the Township, the Board of Education, and Lakewood Public Works. I have not gotten any answers yet so I am happy to see that somebody else is also asking for help on this matter.

As far as I know, this playground is supposed to opened during all non-school hours for the use of the Community.

Can you please have it unlocked on all weekdays and weekends for our use?

We would greatly appreciate it.

Response from Mayor Coles:

We spoke to the Police Department after an earlier letter on this subject. They will begin unlocking so it can be enjoyed by everyone.
