UPDATE: Howell Police Issue Over 60 Tickets During Second Week of Targeted Enforcement

Since launching the new Targeted Enforcement Areas in Howell, police have stopped over 300 vehicles.

During week two, over 100 motor vehicle stops were made, 67 motor vehicle summonses were issued, and 60 warnings were issued, police said

The Traffic Enforcement Squad also added Fort Plains Rd, Starlight Rd, Alexander Ave and Maxim Southard Rd to areas they enforced.

The Patrol Division also supported the unit and a total of over 300 motor vehicle stops were made, police said. “We will continue to address these areas and add more areas as we receive feedback from our residents.”
