UPDATE: Brick Man Who Shot At Officer Dies From Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound

A Brick Township man who fired a weapon at a Brick Township Police Officer on earlier this week – and then turned the gun on himself – succumbed to his self-inflicted injuries, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer confirmed today.

According to the Prosecutor, Corey Johnson, 28, of Brick Township died last night at 10:15 p.m.
