After being threatened with a lawsuit for breaking their contract mid year, Durham Bus Service has agreed to cover the routes for the remainder of the year, a Board official told TLS.
This afternoon, in response to Durham’s announcement that they’re leaving Lakewood, Board President Barry Iann and State Monitor David Shafter authorized litigation against the bus company for breaking the contract, the official said.
The motion, which was to be filed tomorrow, demanded that the bus company complete their contract until the end of the year.
What was the bus commpany’s hava aminah? Is there something missing??
Lakewood is going to be without contract bussing?? That is the best move this town can make..bringing back their own busses and drivers..that was the worst mistake they did a long time ago.
Can I sue the Board of Ed if not primary kid hasn’t had busing all year?
will the private school bus companies be losing out money next year because of non bussing (ex: jays, klarr)
