[COMMUNICATED] By: Shimmy Blum. The ads have barely been out there and slots at two upcoming Parnassah Network-Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce one-day seminars have almost been sold out. Attendees will be coming from throughout the New York-New Jersey region, and from as far out as Baltimore and other out-of-town communities.
Not surprisingly: How many people can gain from learning how to launch a business and how to succeed in the world of online sales?
A whole lot of them.
The February 17th “From Amazon to E-bay to Zulily: Online Marketplace Selling” follows a similar seminar last month, which was sold out even after several additional slots were added.
The February 18th “Launch your Business” seminar is the second of its kind, following Parnassah Network’s sold out inaugural one-day seminar in July on the topic.
Both seminars elicited rave reviews from attendees. The offices at Parnassah Network – Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce were flooded with requests from entrepreneurs who were eager to get to attend similar seminars in the near future.
The upcoming seminars answer this call. They will be held at the Sheraton Hotel Conference Center in Edison, NJ, a close distance from major Orthodox communities in New York and New Jersey. Seminars are open to men and women – with separate seating – and seats are limited to 40 in order to maximize individualized interactions.
Seminar details:
Tuesday, February 17 – “Online Marketplace Selling” seminar will feature Sam Brownstein, founder of several thriving Amazon businesses; Jeremy Greenberg, CEO of SellerCloud; Avi Rosenthal, e-commerce consultant, Rosy Deals; and Chaim Sofer, Marketing strategist at RelSmart Marketing.
Wednesday, February 18 – “Launch Your Business” seminar which will feature Ami Bielinki, Managing Director at Cherristone Interactive; Noach Burton, Attorney, partner, Schwartz Burton LLP; Seth Farbman, Chairman of Vcorp Services, co-founder of Vintage Filings, Vstock transfer and Vcheck Global; and David Rosen, General manager of Four Corners bagel & Café, former multi-unit licensee, director of operations at Starbucks coffee.
Men and women from across the region are enamored by the opportunity to hear from seasoned experts in their desired field in a comfortable, individualized setting. They get to ask the presenters questions and follow up on a long term basis, as well as network with other attendees. An amazingly broad range of relevant information and contacts can be gleaned within just one business day.
These one-day seminars perfectly epitomize the Parnassah Network-Orthodox Chamber of Commerce mission to put effective business and professional tools within reach of all members of our community. As it works on registration for the upcoming 2015 Parnassah Expo, Parnassah Expo-Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce is also actively working to arrange other one-day seminars on key topics over the upcoming months.
The cost to attend the seminars has been subsidized, and is thus a low, all-inclusive $199 per person.

In addition there will be a Seminar for women only in the same venue on Feb 18th, geared to women approximately aged 40-60 that are looking to reenter the workforce. This seminar comes as a project of Parnassah Network’s Women in the Workforce division launched at last year’s Parnassah Expo. More information on this seminar can be found in a separate article with the same contact information.
