UNITED TO SUPPORT OUR NEIGHBORS — AND AHAVAS TZEDAKAH

Whom do they call?…

… when a family hits an extended rough patch and cannot afford  their basic needs any longer?

… when a family is struck with a sudden medical crisis and life is at a standstill?

… when the breadwinner has just been laid off from work and the bills are starting to pile up?

In Lakewood, the answer is unequivocal: Ahavas Tzedakah!

Led by the acclaimed Dr. And Mrs. Shanik, the organization has grown from humble beginnings into a chesed powerhouse transforming lives and saving families.

Dignity first, dignity always

You may be surprised to learn that Ahavas Tzedakah has a budget of $6,000,000 annually. But this is by design.

Every dollar that is distributed is done so with utmost discretion so that the families can retain their dignity. Debit cards containing allocated funds are mailed to their homes in nondescript envelopes, and can then be utilized at 45 local stores to shop for life’s necessities.

The distributions include year-round support and seasonal essentials for the entire family. For many, Ahavas Tzedakah is their lifeline.

Taking Charge

The annual Charge campaign is the once-a-year opportunity for every individual to extend an arm and stop the fall of our struggling neighbors. By contributing to this mission, you will lead the charge towards a brighter future for these struggling families.

Today, they are counting on you to help them charge forward.

It’s time to make a difference. It’s time to Charge.
