Police have shut down a portion of the Industrial Park once again this morning due to an unattended backpack, Lieutenant Butterworth confirmed TLS.
The backpack was located in the area of Lehigh Avenue and Swarthmore around 11:00 AM.
Lakewood’s EMS and Fire Department have secured the area as they await a K9 Unit.
UPDATE 12PM: Authorities have given the all-clear.
On 9/11 a call came into Battalion 1, NYFD, about 10 minutes before the first plane. A gas leak in the opposite direction of WTC. No gas leak upon arrival. An intentional diversion to delay response. Writing is on the wall…
