Which Mechutzef places automated calls to peoples houses at midnight to let them know that HaRav Finkel is coming to town?
Be dan lkaf zechus that they were on Israeli time and micalculated the hours. Elul.
#2 I was going to say the exact same thing.
My kids were woken up by this late phone call and didn’t go back to sleep for some time. I don’t care where this call came from. It is there resp. to make sure.
There is a rule in Lakewood that NO CHAIN CALLS ARE TO BE DONE PAST 11:00pm.
And how can I be Dan Lkaf Zchus if I know for a fact that the calls originated in Lakewood?
The rule in Lakewood is no chain calls past 10:30pm. And for the many elderly and working families even 10:30 is to late.
So rabbi Finkel visits lakewood and is according to #3 is gezel shina due to the inconsideration of others.
Its very nice for the rav to visit, but people have to think before they do things, like call after 11:00pm.
