Two Juveniles Lead Police On Foot Chase And Arrested After Stealing Pay Phone

arrest_by_lpdPolice have just arrested two juveniles after they stole a pay phone. The 9 year olds stole the pay phone at 8th Street and Princeton Avenue, and led Police on a foot-chase. They were caught at 4th and Princeton and taken into Police custody. TLS-89

  1. that payphone was broken and lying on the ground 4 ages I think it was hefker cops aint got nothin to do than chase and arrest some 9yr olds gee whiz

  2. so just because something is broken and no one is using it, it’s okay to take something that doesn’t belong to you? How about a disabled car on the side of the road? maybe next time these fine upstanding youth will go for a car instead. Is that still okay?

    and I’m sure running from the police is okay too right?

  3. If it was lying on the ground seemingly abandoned, why should the kids get chased by the police? The owner of the phone (Verizon?) should come and clean up their garbage.

  4. While I agree that it shouldn’t be sitting there abandoned by Verizon, that doesn’t give anyone the right to take it. And police only chase people if they run. If they were doing nothing wrong, why run?
