Two hospitalized after elevated CO levels found in Lakewood home

Two people were hospitalized after feeling ill from Carbon Monoxide, officials say.

The Lakewood Fire Department responded to the East 9th Street home approximately 6:45 pm and found the first floor of the home to have CO levels of approximately 50ppm, and the basement approximately 30ppm.

“They did have a working CO alarm, and they were also feeling ill,” an official told TLS.

Hatzolah responded and transported two patients to MMCSC.
