Two Hospitalized in Crash involving Overturned Vehicle

PHOTO: Two people were hospitalized last night as a result of a two-vehicle crash involving an overturned vehicle, officials say.

As first reported on our news alerts last night, the crash occurred shortly before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Lexington Avenue and 9th Street.

Hatzolah BLS and extrication units responded to the scene, along with Lakewood First Aid, and found the occupant of the overturned SUV crawling from the vehicle.

The patients were transported by LFA and Hatzolah to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus with non life-threatening injuries.
