PHOTOS: Two people had to be cut from their vehicle this evening following a crash which left their vehicle on its side.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Route 70 about 10 PM.
Lakewood First Aid, EMS and LFD responded to the scene.
Lakewood First Aid’s Extrication units cut the windshield out of the overturned vehicle and extricated two trapped patients.
One of the patients was transported by EMS to KMC, while Lakewood First Aid transported the other patient to Jersey Shore Medical Center. None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening, officials told TLS.
The accident is the third serious one on New Hampshire Avenue today. The others occurred at the intersections of Cedarbridge Avenue, as well as at Oak Street.
