Two Children Struck By Lightning

lighteningHATZOLAH has just responded to the westgate area for two children who were reportedly struck by lightning. The children are consious at this time and injuries do not appear to be life threatning. The children were apparently playing outdoors when the lightning struck.

The intial reports were that one child was struck, but upon arrival, Hatzolah had found a second patient also struck by the lightning.

U/D: 10:55 p.m. The children were both transported to Kimball Medical Center in stable condition.

Not to be insensitive and I wish these children a speedy recovery, BUT WHY ARE THEY OUTSIDE DURING A LIGHTNING STORM?
