Two men were arrested yesterday for repeatedly burglarizing an unoccupied home, Detective Captain Paul Daly says. Police were tipped off about the men and after questioning them found enough evidence to charge them in connection with the burglaries. The same home was burglarized three times, Daly said. One of the men was picked up in the area of South Lake after police responded to a suspicious-person call about a man walking around with a backpack.
Police questioned the man and searched his backpack where they found a knife, gloves and pliers. He was charged with possession of burglary tools and with possession of a weapon.
The men are suspected of stealing copper, scrap metal, a stereo and a storm door.
Both men are being held at Ocean County Jail.
Well there you go people the LPD can multi task. You all got what you asked for. On top of arresting Rev. Brigham they were also able to concentrate on “more important” things and arrest the “burglars” you speak of. Outstanding
ok Wow- what about the gangs? and i’m sure there are only 2 robbers in this entire town. what an idiotic comment to make
What’s wrong with you. They do a mighty fine job the cops just look around town as much as you complain there is not many problems with gangs bothering frum people they wanna fight with each let them as long as they don’t come our way. Don’t know about you but Lakewood cops treat us very nice we have plenty of us that drive them up the wall with stupidity they happen to be very good to us.
What about the gangs? The police do what they can with what resources they have. You can’t just walk up to someone if you suspect they are in a gang and arrest them. Unfortunately they have rights like you and I. As far as the comment it’s called sarcasm. I hate the argument why don’t the police concentrate on more important things. They are there to protect and serve from every element not just what you think is important. Some people will never understand unless they walk in the shoes of a police officer!!
