There were two accidents involving school buses today in Lakewood.
The first one, reported earlier on TLS Status, occurred during this morning‘s run on Cross Street. No serious injuries were reported in that one.
The second accident occurred shortly after 4PM at the intersection of River Avenue and Spruce Street – near the hospital. Injuries were reported in that accident, though information on the extent of injuries was not immediately available.
Police are investigating both incidents.

Time for that intersection to get a traffic light
Actually there was a third, a mini school bus rare-ended a pickup truck on Rt 9, between 10th and 9th, heading South, at around 8:35 this morning.
I guess that doesn’t happen very often.
The busses these days are reckless!! I’ve had way too many busses turn right in front of me as if they own the road! what they do is they speed up into the road they want to turn onto and they quickly put on their light and stop sign to try to avoid you from swerving around them! Terrible drivers!!
